Scandinavian design and Latvian quality – The perfect combination!

In modern architecture, a balcony is no longer just an "add-on" to a building – it is a space that defines the building's character, connects the indoors with the outside world, and adds rhythm to the façade. Our latest project in the Skårerbyen district (Norway) stands as vivid proof of the pivotal role played by thoughtful railing and glazing solutions.

Where aesthetics meet functionality
Looking at the project photos, the first thing that catches the eye is the building's visual lightness. Although robust materials were used in construction, it is the balcony railings that give the building that modern and "airy" feel we all cherish so much in Scandinavian design.

In this project, Ripo Fabrika demonstrates how Latvian manufacturing quality can bring a high-end Nordic design vision to life. The black metal railings – featured in both straight lines and elegant curves around the building's corners – create a striking contrast with the façade’s tone, resulting in a dynamic yet harmonious overall look.

Safety Without Compromise Construction in Norway demands compliance with some of the strictest safety and quality standards in the world. For us, this is a challenge we accept with pride.

In this project, in collaboration with @selvaagbolig, our task was not only to create a visually appealing product but to guarantee absolute safety. The solutions developed and installed by Ripo Fabrika:

  • Fully comply with the highest Norwegian construction standards;

  • Ensure longevity in harsh weather conditions;

  • Maintain visual elegance without sacrificing structural rigidity..

The Result

This project in the Skårerbyen district is a testament to the fact that Scandinavian design and Latvian quality are indeed the perfect combination. We are delighted to see how our railing and glazing systems turn the architect's drawings into reality, creating an environment where people will love to live.
