A project that combines scale and innovation

RIPO FABRIKA is proud to take part in one of Norway’s largest residential developments – Skårerbyen Phases 7 and 8, developed by Veidekke. This ambitious project is located in Lørenskog, near Oslo, and is divided into two phases.

The first phase is scheduled for completion by the end of October 2025, with a large part of our work already finalized.

RIPO FABRIKA’s contribution to Skårerbyen

Within this project, RIPO FABRIKA delivers a wide range of railing and glazing solutions:

• Around 900 meters of balcony and terrace railings

• Balcony partitions and glass canopies

• Decorative façade tubes

• A specially designed handrail profile based on the architect’s vision

• Curved railings adapted to the geometry of the buildings – a first-time solution for this railing model

Innovative solutions for architectural needs

This project stands out for both its scale and architectural diversity. It provides RIPO FABRIKA with the opportunity to demonstrate its ability to adapt to different architectural visions and create innovative solutions, such as customized railing bending according to the building’s form.

The architect’s vision is just as important as the technical execution – therefore, we developed a completely new handrail profile exclusively for this project.
