We’re excited to share a particularly significant project demonstrating RIPO fabrika's capability to create personalized and inclusive solutions. We've designed a specialized kitchen tailored for wheelchair users, ensuring maximum comfort, functionality, and aesthetic appeal.

Purpose and significance of the project:

The goal of this project was to create an environment enabling independence and the ability to perform daily kitchen tasks comfortably. The kitchen was developed in cooperation with local municipalities under the project "Support measures for people with disabilities to ensure accessible housing environments."

RIPO fabrika focused on creating innovative solutions that meet practical needs while also satisfying aesthetic demands. This approach proves that accessibility and quality design can go hand in hand.

What makes this kitchen special?

The kitchen design aims to provide convenient and safe access to all essential functions, considering individual needs and daily routines.

• Customized cabinets: The upper cabinets are liftable and height-adjustable with the push of a button, allowing wheelchair users easy access to shelves otherwise difficult to reach.

  
  

• Height-adjustable sink and induction hob: A countertop combining a sink and induction stove is height-adjustable, ensuring both cooking and washing tasks are equally accessible and convenient.

  
  

• Mobile app control: The kitchen hood is controlled through a mobile application, offering simplified and comfortable access to the ventilation system.

  
  

• Hardware and materials: High-quality EGGER materials and BLUM hardware ensure durability, functionality, and aesthetic appearance. Glossy facades and compact laminate countertops give a modern, visually appealing look.

  
  

• Thoughtful installation: To avoid disrupting the client's daily routine, the old kitchen remained operational until the new kitchen was fully installed. Lift mechanisms were pre-assembled in the workshop, ensuring swift and complication-free installation at the client's home.
