Another Step Towards Independence: A New, Adaptive Kitchen from RIPO Fabrika

We at RIPO fabrika believe that a home should adapt to the person, not the other way around. With genuine pride, we wish to present our latest realized project – another fully adapted, ergonomic, and modern kitchen for a wheelchair user.

This project is a continuation of our mission in cooperation with the municipal project “Support measures for persons with disabilities to ensure housing environmental accessibility,” proving that a functional environment can also be aesthetically pleasing.

Design That Breaks Down Boundaries.

Looking at the new kitchen, the first thing that catches the eye is its contemporary visual image. Glossy facades, an elegant compact laminate surface, and a stylish wall with geometric patterns create a cozy atmosphere. However, the true "heart" of this kitchen lies in its technology—invisible yet indispensable.

Technology for Everyday Freedom.

In this project, too, we have integrated proven values and mechanisms that allow our clients to feel completely independent in their kitchen:

• Raising and Lowering Cabinets: Upper shelves are no longer an unreachable dream. With the push of a single button, the entire contents of the cabinet "travel" down to the user's eye level. This allows for easy access to dishes or products without having to get out of the wheelchair.

  
  

• Transformable Work Zone: The sink and induction cooktop are embedded in a height-adjustable system. This means the work surface can be lowered to a height that allows a wheelchair to fit comfortably underneath, ensuring proper ergonomics during cooking and dishwashing.

  
  

• Smart Control: To avoid reaching for range hood switches, the hood is conveniently controlled via a mobile app.

Quality in the Details.

Adhering to unwaveringly high standards, we use only the best – EGGER materials for the carcasses and facades, as well as reliable BLUM fittings. We know that such a kitchen must be not only comfortable but also durable.
